Delete your account

You can delete your GainGround account and all its data at any time, with or without the app.

In the app

Open GainGround, go to Profile and tap Delete account. Your account is deleted the moment you confirm.

Without the app

Email support@gainground.run from the address you signed up with and ask us to delete your account. We delete it within one month and reply when it is done.

What is deleted

Everything linked to you, at once:

  • Your account: email address, username, display name and password.
  • Your runs and their GPS tracks.
  • Your territory, friendships, group memberships and push tokens.

What stays

Ground that other runners took from you before you left stays with them, as cells without any link to you. Nothing else is kept.
